Belated New Year Updates

Hey, everyone, look! It's 2009!
A belated Happy New Year to everyone. :giggle:

Now for the update part:

I've been thinking lately, and I've come to the conclusion that I no longer have the desire to take model stock anymore. I think a lot of it has to do with personal issues I've been dealing with lately, which revolve around dignity and sense of self. Taking pictures and uploading them here usually doesn't help in the dignity department. I just don't want to deal with it anymore. You can continue to use stock of mine you have, but there won't be any new model stock right now, and what is up will be removed soon.
I still like being a part of the stock community, though. I can't leave it. So I'm changing my focus. I'm going to be offering more resources now, things like stock images of places and objects, brushes, textures, and stamps. It means I will be removing all of my model stock [no exceptions], but I will not be disappearing from here. Mmkay?

Updates coming as soon as I finish my first batch of textures. :D

More than anything, it has to do with the nature of deviantART itself. I have no control over who sees my stock, what they use it for, or how it is distributed on the internet. There are rules, but there will always be people who disregard them. There are the comments by those who assume that because it's on the internet, they can say whatever they want. I have work I need to take care of. I'm going through some really tough times and don't want to deal with it right now.

Agree will all points. Even if you switch to resource stock aren’t you going to face exactly the same issues? Sounds to me that the only way take the load of is to quit the stock community. Well I hope your hard times are close to an end and I wish you good luck with your new choices.

Yes, but they're less dire then-- they're not your face, your likeness, and I have a little more patience when it's just textures and such instead of me. I love the stock community too much to just leave it, so I'm going to try and see how I can contribute like this. We actually need more PSP brushes, anyway. XD

I also have a new job, which doesn't leave much time for photoshoots. That's part of it. :XD:

Accepted. What about all the model images that are already downloaded and due time will result in creations? Are they unwelcome as well?
